The Spendor D7.2 Floorstanding Loudspeaker is Spendor’s flagship design, combining elegant modern styling with cutting-edge acoustic engineering to deliver exceptional realism and musical transparency. This medium-sized 2.5-way floorstanding speaker produces a vibrant, dynamic sound that reveals every nuance of a recording with remarkable clarity and control. At its heart is Spendor’s proprietary LPZ (Linear Pressure Zone) 22mm soft dome tweeter, which uses an innovative stainless-steel acoustic chamber and phase-correcting micro-foil to achieve superb linearity, wide dispersion, and pinpoint focus across the listening area. Complementing the tweeter are an 18cm EP77 polymer cone bass/mid driver and a Kevlar composite bass unit, delivering fast, articulate bass, pure vocals, and expansive soundstage depth. The rigid cabinet incorporates Spendor Dynamic Damping technology, minimizing unwanted resonance for outstanding transparency. Easy to drive and amplifier-friendly, the D7.2 performs beautifully with both tube and solid-state amplifiers, offering reference-level performance with flexible room placement.
