The Rega ND9 Moving Magnet Phono Cartridge is Rega’s highest-performing moving magnet design, engineered for exceptional detail retrieval, tracking accuracy, and expansive soundstage performance. Featuring a Fine Line nude diamond stylus mounted to a lightweight Boron rod cantilever, the ND9 delivers ultra-fast transient response, reduced distortion, and remarkable vinyl playback precision. At its core is a newly developed low-inductance generator with optimized pole gap geometry and miniaturized parallel coils, improving channel balance, high-frequency extension, and stereo imaging. The ND9 is also the first moving magnet cartridge to utilize a powerful Neodymium (Nd) N55 magnet, providing greater output and dynamic energy than traditional designs. Housed in a rigid, glass-filled PPS body with Rega’s three-point mounting system, the ND9 ensures secure alignment and reduced resonance.
