Matrix Audio X-SPDIF3 USB Digital Audio Interface (Black)
The Matrix Audio X-SPDIF3 USB Digital Audio Interface is a high-performance solution for converting USB audio from computers, tablets, and mobile devices into pristine digital outputs for external DACs. Operating in asynchronous USB mode, it converts USB audio to Optical, Coaxial, AES/EBU, and IIS-LVDS outputs, delivering superior signal integrity and reduced jitter. Compared to previous generations, the X-SPDIF3 adds IIS-LVDS output isolation, fully separating the digital output from USB ground noise to eliminate interference commonly associated with USB audio sources. Supporting up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512, it ensures exceptional compatibility with modern high-resolution audio systems. Two Accusilicon femtosecond clocks provide ultra-low jitter timing for both 44.1kHz and 48kHz sampling families, while FPGA-based clock management and independent low-noise power regulation preserve signal accuracy. The X-SPDIF3 also supports DoP to Native DSD conversion, configurable IIS-LVDS pin definitions, and dual clock output modes for broad DAC compatibility. Additional features include USB bus or external power support and a CNC-machined aluminum chassis for superior shielding, making the X-SPDIF3 an ideal USB digital audio interface for high-end PC and mobile hi-fi systems.
