The Little Fwend Disco MKIII Automatic Tonearm Lifter is precision-engineered exclusively for Technics SL-1200 and SL-1300 series turntables, spanning from the iconic 1979 SL-1200 Mk2 to current high-end models including G, GR, GR2, GAE, GME, and SL-1300G. Designed and machined in Switzerland, each Disco MKIII is hand-assembled and individually tuned to deliver exceptional mechanical accuracy and reliability. The MKIII introduces a refined construction using solid stainless steel with a glass-blasted finish, paired with an upgraded solid brass, nickel-plated lifting mechanism for improved mass, stability, and longevity. A magnetic mounting system replaces adhesive-only mounting, allowing effortless repositioning and precise adjustment of trigger point and height without residue. The upgraded M3 height adjustment screw uses a standard 1.5mm Allen key for easy setup. Optimized for the standard 5.8mm Technics rubber mat and tonearm geometry, the Disco MKIII also includes optional mounting hardware for modified configurations. Once installed, it automatically lifts the tonearm at the end of playback, protecting your stylus and cartridge from unnecessary wear while preserving the classic manual Technics experience.
